rst ever Vespers Poetry event will take place on Tuesday 11th October from 7.30pm on Tuesday 11th October 2016 at the Serenity Cafe, 8 Jackson’s Entry, Edinburgh, EH8 8JP (a few doors down the lane from the Scottish Poetry Library). The line-up will be:

The event will start on time, so please arrive just a little early if possible. It will finish at 8.30pm. Tickets are available at the door for £3.

Thank you Jane and Rob, that was a very enjoyable evening and successful first event. I think everyone found it enjoyable. It had a lovely atmosphere and it was easy to hear and appreciated the variety of the poets. I feel privileged to have been at the inaugural event and look forward to coming in the future and particularly look forward to the collaborative aspect you are aiming to have in the events. I want to express my appreciation and thanks to your first three poets who all read their wonderful poems beautifully. I was also delighted to have the opportunity to have some very lovely conversation afterwards in the nice atmosphere of the Hemma bar and thrilled to win in the raffle. Most unusual for me to win, so it was a very fortunate as well as hugely satisfying evening for me 🙂
